House_Aerial.jpgRobbins Reef Yacht Club is located on the shores of  Newark Bay on the West Side of Bayonne, New Jersey. The club was incorporated on September 13, 1906.

The Club encourages the sport of yachting while promoting the science of seamanship and navigation.  Members enjoy the various ammenities that the RRYC has to offer.

The Clubhouse offers an inside Bar, Banquet Hall, Kitchen Facilities, Outside Deck, Woman's Lounge, Game Room, Restroom and Showers. The clubhouse also hosts Executive offices for the Board of Governors and Board of Trustees.

Flagpole.jpgHouseFlagpole_narrow.jpgThe Clubhouse is adjacent to the Great Lawn maintained by dedicated members with green thumbs. The Lawn hosts BBQ facilities, seating, and flagpole. The lawn caters to many of the club's events including Opening and Closing Day ceremonies, Family Picnics and special events.

The Outdoor Tiki Bar and Patio is located near the boat launch ramp overlooking the boat basin and Newark Bay. The Tiki Bar provides members with a relaxed, full-service venue to enjoy cool beverages and refreshing breezes.

Tiki_FlagBurgee.jpgThe custom made patio provides an area to relax and kick back. Custom brick inlays highlight the club burgee, anchor & rode, and other designs. Plenty of seating, tables, and swings are also available. Fireplace pits are also available for use by the members.

The Boat basin area is partitioned into several  areas as shown below. Two gates provide access to the basin area. The northern gate provides access to the North Side Docks and West Wall Docks. The southern main gate provides access to the Main Docks, Guest Dock, South Side docks, and Gas dock. The guest docks provides 2-3 slips for visiting vessels. The Gas dock provides fuel, water, and a fish cleaning station. All boat slip locations have been upgraded to provide metered 30A electrical service, water, and area lighting.

The remaining grounds provide ample parking for cars and boats alike. A separate winter storage area provides parking for primarily trailered vessels and long-term storage.

An education isn't how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It's being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you don't.
